Why The World Celebrates Arthur’s Day?

Arthur Guinness’s story begins in 1759, when he made a bold choice to sign a 9,000-year lease on a dilapidated brewery now known as the iconic St. James’s Gate brewery in Dublin. This set into motion a series of events which laid the foundation for the creation of the iconic black brew, we now know as GUINNESSĀ®.

In honour of his remarkable legacy, the world pays tribute to “Arthur” with a day in his name – Arthur’s Day. A day to celebrate those, like Arthur, who make bolder choices, with iconic musical events in global epicentres around the world.
